Welcome to Velunox Living. This Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy explains how we deliver products and handle returns and refunds for customers located in the Republic of Ireland.

Delivery area

Velunox Living currently delivers to addresses within the Republic of Ireland only.

Order processing

Orders are normally processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. Processing times may vary during busy periods, public holidays or where additional order checks are required.

Delivery times

Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, courier scheduling and delivery location. Estimated delivery times shown on our website or at checkout are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

Large or bulky items, including mattresses, beds, sofas and recliners, may require additional delivery time and may be delivered separately from other products within the same order.

Delivery delays

While we make reasonable efforts to deliver within estimated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to supplier availability, courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, address issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where significant delays arise, we will aim to keep customers informed.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

Incorrect delivery information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Velunox Living is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied during checkout.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish or European consumer protection legislation.

Cooling-off period

For eligible online purchases, customers generally have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods. To exercise this right, you must notify Velunox Living by email within the applicable cancellation period.

After notifying us of cancellation, goods should be returned within 14 days unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Return conditions

Returned products must be returned within the agreed return period, include original packaging where reasonably possible, and be in a condition suitable for inspection.

Customers may inspect products in the same way they would reasonably be permitted to do in a physical retail store. If a product has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or functioning, a reduction in the refund amount may apply where permitted by law.

Return shipping costs

Where a customer changes their mind and wishes to return a product, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item unless otherwise required by law. We recommend using an appropriate tracked delivery service.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and photographs showing the fault, damage or incorrect item.

Where a fault, damage or fulfilment error is confirmed, Velunox Living will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund. Where applicable, return shipping costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied products will be covered by Velunox Living.

Hygiene and personal-use products

For health protection and hygiene reasons, certain products may not be suitable for return once opened, unsealed or used. This may include pillows, mattress protectors, duvets, bedding products and similar personal-use items.

This restriction does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise covered by statutory consumer rights.

Mattress returns

Mattresses may be returned in accordance with applicable Irish and European consumer protection laws. Customers should keep mattresses clean and protected while assessing suitability.

Returned mattresses may be inspected upon return. Where permitted by law, refunds may be reduced to reflect any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess the product.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the purchase.

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, customers will be notified regarding approval of the refund. Where a refund is due, we will process it within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law. Refund processing times may vary depending on the customer's payment provider and financial institution.
